New Members of GIE Editorial Review Board

We are delighted to welcome Drs Amy Hosmer and Andrew Yen as the newest additions to our Editorial Review Board. Their record of dedication (former top reviewer awardees) should serve as a wonderful example to authors and reviewers who are at the early stages of their career.

“I have found GIE to be a very rewarding experience. By reviewing submitted manuscripts to GIE, I am able to stay up to date with cutting edge endoscopic management strategies and techniques, which subsequently translates to improved patient care. Research interests: Investigation of novel endoscopic techniques for optimizing the detection and removal of pre-malignant gastrointestinal lesions, with a current focus on water-aided endoscopy.

“Reviewing for GIE is an important part of my practice as a gastroenterologist. In addition to assisting the journal with its broader mission of advancing the field of endoscopy, reviewing manuscripts for new and cutting-edge research also has a positive impact on my personal growth as a clinician, investigator, and educator. In the rapidly evolving area of endoscopy, the opportunity to read and critique current articles from talented researchers in our field is invaluable, and being able to integrate new developments and knowledge into daily practice directly and positively impacts patient care.”
