Meet the Editor- Robert Enns

Robert Enns, MD, is an Associate Editor and joins us from St. Paul’s Hospital at theDr. Robert Enns University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada where he is a Clinical Professor.

Endoscopedia: What are your GI areas of focus?

RE: Therapeutic Endoscopy.

Endoscopedia: What is your favorite part about working on the Journal?

RE: Marveling at the innovative endoscopy being done around the world and hearing about it at an early stage.

Endoscopedia: If you hadn’t gone into gastroenterology, what else would you have done?

RE: Invasive anything (probably cardiology).

Endoscopedia: What is one thing you would like Endoscopedia readers to know about you?

RE: I’m evidence that a “normal” clinical based GI can still participate in high level academic endoscopy.

Endoscopedia: What accomplishment makes you most proud?

RE: 30 years of marriage (same woman).

Endoscopedia: What is your favorite vacation spot?

RE: Okanogan Lakes in British Columbia.

Endoscopedia: If you could only listen to one kind of music for the rest of your life, what would it be?

RE: Not Rap.

Endoscopedia: If you could travel in time to a different time period, where would you go?

RE: Forward 50 years.

Endoscopedia: What is the most unusual thing about you?

RE: Allergic to wine (but still manage).

    Me too allergic to wine ! Is too much for Italian Doctor !!
    I’m very interesting in therapy endoscopy and I like Endoscopedia
    I was in Vancouver some years ago , attended to a meeting on IBD , nice town.

    I hove to send some videoclip on a new endoscopic technique in the future.
