Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Editorial Board top 10 topics: advances in GI endoscopy in 2018

The goal of this study was to summarize the top 10 advances in gastrointestinal endoscopy. We wanted to highlight the 10 major new areas that affect endoscopic practice for ASGE members and suggest areas for education and research that ASGE should emphasize. Although subject to some bias from individual committee members, this study provides a nice review of gastrointestinal endoscopic publications in 2018 and summarizes major advances.

The top 10 list in order of priority based on the number of votes for each topic.
